Description
Hamamatsu L9873 Photoionizer eliminates electrostatic charge using photoionization for clean, easy, yet effective generation of ions. Unlike the conventional corona discharge method, the PhotoIonizer removes electrostatic charges without generating “dust particles, electromagnetic noise or ozone”. The PhotoIonizer ion generation is wellbalanced and so will not cause “overshoot” (generating static charges of opposite polarity). The PhotoIonizer ionizes molecules near charged objects to efficiently remove the electrostatic charges. This allows instantaneous removal of electrostatic charges accumulated on fast moving objects or powdery objects, which have been difficult to remove up till now.
