The Hi-Tech Lamps part number UHIS250AQ14CWA is a 250 watt (250W) metal halide aquarium lamp with a color temperature of 14000 Kelvin (14000K). This 14,000K lamp has a high color temperature from a single point source, which simulates the appearance of sunlight near the equator in ocean depths over 5 meters and with differing wavelength spikes. Coral fluorescence will be excited in some species under the enhanced blue spectrum of the 14,000K lamps. This Ushio metal halide lamp has a medium screw (E39) base.
